Le Pays

A Destination

Dotted with olive groves, the Alma Cersius vineyard extends along the banks of the historic Canal du Midi.

The shores of the Mediterranean Sea brush up against the trails of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc. It is here that history and nature meet.

The Beziers Cathedral built in stone, the ruins of the Château de Villeneuve -les- Béziers, and the prehistoric remains in Cers remind us of the historic roots of the area.

The amazing Fonseranes and its nine locks, classified by UNESCO.

A relaxing getaway on the fine sandy beaches in Portiragnes, bordered by vines from Merlot to Syrah, take a leisurely bike ride under the plane trees along the Canal du Midi – these are some of the countless charms of the Pays d’Oc. La Féria, a traditional festival of the south, a joyful celebration under in the sunshine every August 15th. The Occitan art of living is animated, epicurean, without a doubt a reflection of its wines*.

* The wines of Alma Cersius have been the official wines of the Béziers Féria since 2012.
